Segmentation of a 3D Grapevine model
The UC Vision team have developed a 3D model of a grapevine, segmented to separate out the grapes, the leaves and vines themselves. Our cameras and robots scan vineyards and literally see behind the leaves.
We’re now working with the operational vineyard and research partners at Lincoln University and NZ Bioeconomy see how this 3D segmentation can better optimise vineyard operations and ultimately yield.
